CEDAR PARK, TX - November 19, 2014 - IBT, Inc., a leading provider of cutting edge solutions for community financial institutions announced today the overwhelming success of its inaugural annual user's conference in Texas October 12-14 of this year.
CEO Mark Dittman set the tone for the conference with an opening address that captured the spirit of "The IBT Difference" and IBT's commitment to product scalability and robust retail and business banking. The two day agenda included topics such as CEO to CEO discussions, industry roundtable, Compliance, Disaster recovery and a glimpse into the future of i2Suite product development. Community banks gathered from around the country expressing enthusiasm and enjoying the camaraderie of meeting one another and IBT teams.
Brenda Strunk, Chief Operations Officer from Farmers State Bank in Ohio said "As a user it was very beneficial to be able to talk to the people behind the scenes and to hear the direction that IBT is going. Software is not about something you use; it's about a partnership with the company that you are using it from. We believe we are in partnership with IBT. The biggest take away - the relationships that we built. Not just with IBT staff but with other users".
Additionally, Aaron Kness President and CEO from Iowa State Bank & Trust felt the conference was a good experience and worth the time and effort. "Interacting with other users was very valuable, and the range and diversity of users was encouraging. The conference allowed us to interact with both people who were just beginning a relationship with IBT and those who have been with them for 15 years, which was definitely informative. Management and staff did a great job of making the conference a world class event. You'd never have guessed that it was their first one."
Bank of Mauston's CFO and Cashier JoAnn Johnson wished that she and her colleague could have had more representatives from her bank attend. "I wish I could have attended all sessions myself because there was so much good information to gather. It is always good to talk to other users. I liked sharing our ideas the most. Having IBT ask us what we wanted was great."
"We believe that the personalization of this conference format provided an atmosphere for our customers to benefit in getting to know each other and exchange ideas. The goal is to get our users to eventually become the drivers of product development and be the driving force behind the product, stated Mike Golebiowski, President of IBT. "
