At IBT, the basis of each customer relationship is trust. IBT is obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information you have chosen to share with us.
We recognize the regulatory and business need to keep your information confidential, private and secure. To ensure that your information is private and secure at all times, IBT utilizes the Guidelines Establishing Standards for Safeguarding Customer Information mandated by section 501(b) of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Due to the secure nature of the services delivered, a certain amount of tracking and knowledge is required.
IBT will not share any proprietary and confidential customer or company information gathered during the course of use or initial setup of any of the software products or services delivered by IBT.
IBT may, in certain circumstances, keep digital signatures of transactions that create an audit trail for future reference. These are kept solely for the purpose of internal auditing at your organization and for no other reason.
IBT will not disclose or share your information with anyone except with your express written permission. However, IBT will disclose, without notice, information that we are required to disclose under the law or if, in good faith, we believe the action is necessary to:
1. conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on IBT,
2. protect and defend the rights or property of IBT and
3. act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of IBT or the public.
When IBT conducts business with third parties, it requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of all information provided to them.
Employee access to your information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information. Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your information. Because of the importance of these issues, all IBT employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all customer information and employees who violate these policies will be subject to disciplinary measures.
IBT is committed to the security of your private information. All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to your information only in accordance with our internal security standards.
IBT will occasionally update this privacy statement. For material changes to this statement, IBT will notify you.
