XCEL Selects IBT to Streamline Digital Banking Channels

CEDAR PARK, TX – December 19, 2016 - XCEL Federal Credit Union (XCEL) of Bloomfield, NJ has partnered with IBT to integrate various payment, lending, and content management services in a streamlined user interface, improving performance for its members.

XCEL initiated their search for a new digital banking provider when the previous vendor was reluctant to incorporate certain partners into the digital banking channels. They chose IBT based on their understanding of the importance of systems integration, and their eagerness to develop new integrations that provide members with more robust, cohesive solutions.

“We were impressed with IBT’s flexibility. They have the ability to support a variety of integrations now, and generate new integrations as needed. They met our needs while exceeding our expectations,” said XCEL VP and CIO, Michael Mahiya.

IBT’s comprehensive online and mobile banking platforms provide XCEL with robust, fully-branded, and secure internet banking sites that showcase product offerings, and give members greater control. Coupled with IBT’s advanced bill pay feature, XCEL maximizes convenience for its members.

XCEL puts a high priority on serving members with innovative solutions. IBT responded by providing XCEL with an inventive, custom solution with superior functionality.

“IBT acted as an extension of our team, brainstorming and solving problems with us. Mr. Dittman thought outside the box and devised a solution that leveraged an existing system to better serve our members. It’s a great feeling knowing dedicated folks like that are in our corner. That’s the IBT Difference,” exclaimed Mahiya.

“Developing long-standing business relationships is our primary objective, and those partnerships are built on trust and mutual support. As a result of our ability to adapt and accommodate XCEL’s needs, we will be able to offer the new integrations to our existing clients,” said IBT CEO Mark Dittman.

IBT’s fully-integrated digital banking channels deliver simple yet superior functionality across the digital landscape and help credit unions expand their market presence.
